Recently purchased a Provenance Calor Gas heater (cheap) to get me through winter...will one of those Amazon fire stove place fans help or even work towards assisting in circulating the heat?

I doubt it mate they need to be sat on a hot surface to generate enough electricity to turn the fan, from memory the top of a calour gas stove probably wouldn't get hot enough

Yep I’ve just done more research & you are spot on....well you’re a sparky so you would know...thanks dude...tried to delete the thread to not wast anymore peoples time but cant work out how to do so. Thankyou anyway.

Well I didn't know either, and I suspect I'm not the only one.
I think we leave it as an informative type of post.
Save someone a bit of money maybe, but at least folks know.

Somewhere, in the dim and distant past, I read an article where, iirc, someone hooked up a computer fan to a mobile phone charger to get the same effect. I think the idea cost very little to run.
Just an idea?
