couldnt take any decent pics as now dark but finished one of two scandi's in D2 today, aged ivory paper micarta with natural tan canvas micarta liners and stainless bolts.

oil quenched D2

thanks, its 3.2mm thick D2, blade length 100mm, overall length 232mm.
bevel is 28 degree scandi, no taper.

Very nice. Superb fit and finish. Love that colour of micarta. Any chance of a tang pic when the light is better? I' d like to see the liners.

Real nice old school look to the handle. The liners look like leather.

finished the sheaths for these today, need to dry a bit more, im not the best with leather so try to keep it simple, happy with these though!

They look great. I'm not usually a fan of pattern stamped leather but I do like the pine cone effect you have created. The stitching looks fàntastic.
