Bushcraft videos

I've been interested in making my own bushcraft videos some instructional some just interesting i thought It could be a way of getting myself noticed a bit more. I was wondering if there was anything people wanted? Is there something missing on YouTube that people are after ? I'm relatively new but do have half decent knowledge.

Not really on here but I want to become a bushcraft instructor and am looking for some experience

I'm happy to be proved wrong but I don't think that posting youtube videos is the best route to becoming a 'bushcraft instructor'.

A better bet would be to attend many of the meets and moots organised on here, get to know people, let them get to know you and when you find yourself in the company of those who run the occasional class or have schools, volunteer to help out, you might just be keeping the camp fire going at first but if you have useful skills to impart then they might provide you with an audience.

I agree with you I have been looking but no luck yet I'm afraid I wondered if Doing videos would show people I'm worth the time as I have messaged local places but no replies :/

If they are running courses they won't be watching youtube videos and probably not paying too much attention to the many emails/letters they are picking up from aspirant instructors.

Which is why I suggest you try to meet up with folks at locally organised meets instead.

as someone who has watched the odd youtube tutorial I'd say there is the space for a half decent and short video, especially if you pick the topic carefully. It might not bag you the job but if you get a decent number of folks subscribing it cannae hurt surely ?
