Bushcraft Locations

HI all,

New member here.

I`m trying to find some woodland locations in the north of England where I can practice some bushcraft skills.

Does anybody know of anywhere I can go

Contacts numbers -addresses would be useful.

It would be great to join up with some existing members who are going out this winter

Welcome to Bushcraft UK

You'll probably have a great time at one of the meet ups they have in the north, have a look in the Meet ups forum, there's a few in there and they're quite regular.

Getting land to go on is quite hard, but it's surprising what you can do with just a small bit of land or a big garden.

know some places but depends on your location how far you looking to travel?

DIstance isn`t really a factor as I have transport - I`m based in Leeds so I`m open to anything really. I get up to the Lakes quite a bit and that takes a couple of hours.

Do you know the Helmsley area up near Pickering?

I`m not familiar with the area but I`ve been through the town before on route to the coast. Think I may have stopped for a pub lunch in fact.
