hi
long time since last visit.

i am planning on making my brother a knife for his 12th b day, for general bushcraft purposes from high carbon steel, i am going to make two (one for me as well) this will be my 5th and 6th knife. i need them to handle pretty much everything in camp life , whittling, carving, skinning etc.
need inspiration

i was wondering what shape/style i should make it in.

pics would be very nice.

Yeah, those are also knife handles, just can sometimes be a pain to use in the wet. Just go through a website like lakeland bushcraft and see all the styles. When you like one, sketch a plan out, and make any changes.

oh yeah though i might update you guys.
i had almost finished foring out the blank ; no i had finished but needed to straighten it when it shattered.
waiting till next term when i can use the school forge again and make him the knife as a late bday present. (i gave him the pices and said it was a symbol for the knife i would make him)

its going to be something like @keen-edge 's knife.
