Hi All,

I thought I would share this simple recipe for an over night breakfast.

The night before you make the cheese:

THE INDIAN CHEESE

Put some full fat milk into your billy and bring it to the simmer/boil. Hay why not put extra milk in and make some bed time cocoa.

Next add some lemon juice. This will spilt the curds from the whee.

Pore the mixture though some muslin cloth to separate the curds from the whee, add some salt and hang it up over night to dry.

In the morning you will have a ball of Indian Cheese in cloth.

I then take the cheese and roll it into a ball and sprinkle cayenne pepper all over it to make a spicy!

Next make some bannock to your usual recipe, toast it and spread on the cheese and eat.

There you go a simple Bushcraft Breakfast.. Well simple if you have milk!

It's quite nice in curries as well.

One tip is to put a weight on it to squeeze out the whey.. Usually ready in about an hour or so.

On the other hand, after 20 minutes it quite crumbly..

Nice, either way...

Mmmmmm - sounds great! - another thing to add to the list of things to try!:D
