hey chaps, just a quickie hopefully,

just wondered if anyone could tell me the best way to tell if burdock is in its first or second year of growth?

does it send up the tall seed heads in the first year?

cheers everyone,

Rik :)

The first year are just the basel leaves on the ground and the shoot is sent up during the second years growth. The roots are at their best collected at the end of the first/beginning of the second year if you want to eat them.
