Building kits for blokes?

As it's Christmas coming, anyone have any recommendations on toys for grown ups to build? Where to browse or what's good (or not).

I'm thinking of things like the Useless Box but sadly because of shipping it's turned too expensive.

Ship in a bottle? How about a good old fashioned Airfix type model? The Yachts and Galleons are probably require the most effort to build and paint.

The Useless box is kinda fascinating innit.
