Here is a Buck 25th Anniversary Folding Hunter. I never got around to using it, preferring a lighter titanium handled model. Please note the lack of black colour on the letter 'V' and half missing on the letter 'E' where the blade writing is. It was already like that when I purchased a few decades ago. Got put into a drawer wrapped in a cloth where it's sat since. Again, it has never left the house.
I took it out about two years ago and put some wood oil on the handle as it was looking dry. That has darkened the wood a bit. I also used a high quality chrome polish to very, very lightly buff the metal handle parts (with only a microfibre cloth). Can't see a single scratch anywhere on wood or metal.
Any brown marks you see are from that wood oil having dried onto the metal. I've left as is, as I don't want to scratch anything. I can see two small spots on the tip of the blade... again, just dried oil, not rust.
There is no sheath. Can't even remember if there ever was.
Now selling for £40 which includes Royal Mail 48hr postage to the UK only.
