Hi,

Here is something for brut de forge lovers
Simple belt axe, forged from 1055 carbon steel, fitted on hickory haft.
It comes with leather edge cover.

Details:
Length: 37cm
Width: 14cm
Cutting edge: 9cm
Weight: 500g (head) ~750g total

I'm looking for £85 for it with shipping costs ( GLS service in Europe, for other countries please ask).

How good is the edge for splitting small pieces of firewood?

I can make you some recording later today. This is small camp axe, if you would like to chop a lot fire wood for the home purposes, I would recommend something bigger If you would like to use it for small firewood chopping occasionally on the camp - that's something for you
