brown canvas?

Hi everyone where can I buy some brown or green canvas. I need about a metre or two. to make a cover for my axes. any help would be appreciated. cheers the interceptor boy.

What kind of cover are you going to make?

I have an old, fairly pale green tarpaulin kicking around in storage. You can have it for nothing if it's any use to you, but before you get too excited I'd better check that it hasn't fallen to pieces. It's very old, and you know how canvas can go when it's very old. Can't remember how big it is, a few metres square or something like that. Probably weighs 15 or 20 kg.

nothing posh a functional cover for both my bowsaw and a Gb axe to throw over my shoulder. let say I am going to attempt to make one if I am lucky cheers guys

Well, good luck. I still have a pattern cut out from an old bag of the other halfs for a bow saw, but the bow saw i made was squint and rubbish, so I didnt see the point in making the cover. Maybe for bowsaw mark 2....
