Made this yesterday. Made from3mm O1 steel (a well known blade shape) scandi grind with black micarta scales and brass pins and tube. Rapidboy sheath.

Its etched, I do that as a nice mirror or satin polish loves to show dings and scratches very well, the plan is that this wont.

I have never tried on a finished knife, you would have to seal off all the handle and re-do the edge as the acid would eat that to.

As a matter of interest, what would you charge for a similar knife to the one in your first post, with african black wood, mosaic pins and no sheath ( I make my own as I am a south paw).

You could do an nandos etch?

Out of interest what is a nandos etch and is it a trade secret? the finish on the second blade is really nice, as is the first.

Just slap some Nandos chilly sause on the blade and let it dry in for about 30 mins. Use the sause not the marinade.
