Went for a solo walk one morning while I was off and I thought I'd share some pics.
It was much harder to move quietly with this crunchy white cold stuff all over the place.
Found a nice comfy spot for some breakfast. I was thinking of having a real fire in the honey stove, hence the axe, but I was starving and didn't want to hang about so the trangia was lit.
I was sat only 40 or fifty feet away from a path here and it was quite open so it was surprising how many people walked past without even seeing me. The only attention I got was from a spaniel who followed his nose to the sausages. He got one for his reward.
Sorry there are only these three pics, I thought I'd taken more. It was a very nice walk and I saw my first green woodpecker on the way home. Got to be pleased with that.
