Spoons, kuksas, bowls or axes, if it's wood then I'm having a lot of fun with my newest obsession, with bowls being my latest effort. With every thing I try, the next seems to be a little bit easier, so with that to encourage me I'm carving like a madman and enjoying every minute of it. Pretty basic stuff to start but once I gain experience I'll tackle tougher projects:)

All criticism, good or bad is very welcome, as it's all learning. Birch for all and mostly still green and in various stages of drying:

They're all wonderful! What do you do with them now? Do you use them? I usually give away any carvings that are passable to relatives.

I understand exactly how you feel about the learning process. When I work on something, I also think, this is hard, but it will be easier to do next time. :)

Now I know why you are so axe obsessed! Great work, keep piling them up and it becomes a fire hazard, my advice is sell them and buy more tools!
