I have for sale this very nice BMW R80, which I have owned since 2002, but which has been garaged since 2006. I put in some new petrol, bought a new battery, and hey presto, pressed the starter and it starts straight away.
Just over 40,000 miles, two owners, myself and previous owner was president of the Oxfordshire BMW owners club. Comes with hard panniers and tank bag.
There are a few things that need doing, hence the price:
* No MoT or tax
* Slight scratching on the LHS of the fairing (visible on photos)
* Tyres are good with good tread, but front one won't stay inflated, washing up liquid shows some leakage where the valve goes into the rim, and some leakage from around the rim itself. It may just mean re-seating the tyres, or may need replacement tyres - I'm not sure.
Price: £1500, collect only, near Oxford. It may well be going to the local bike shop next week for them to sell it, but I thought it may be worth trying on here, so it's likely only on here for a week.
