Hi all,

I wish to use the leave, bark and the husk of the walnut for it's anti parasitical properties and was wondering how common Black Walnut trees are in the UK and the best place to go on the internet for looking at pictures for identifying them.

I wonder if the standard Walnut tree has the same medicinal properties of the Black Walnut, and I actually do have the mini Collins book on UK trees.

English Walnut is Juglans Regia

Black Walnut is Juglans Niger

Black Walnuts taste stronger and are harder to crack.

Visually the main differentiator os the bark - Black Walnut bark is much darker on mature trees

Black walnuts are higher in protein, English higher in Calcium and marginally higher in chlorestrol busting content

Hey guys the 50 grams of dried Black Walnut leaf has arrived today all the way from Australia. Just a question of how to go about using it now!
