Birch bolettes

Anyone noticed birch bolettes popping up yet they've not popped up yet here prop need more rain

Yes. Plenty of fungi here in Wales at the moment. This last week I’ve had birch bolete, ceps and chanterelle. Seen lots of slippery jacks and larch bolete too!

It's the first time I've used them, it's a bit unnerving seeing them turn blue/green when cut, so my first lot have been used for mushroom powder. Strange that the brown ones don't do it though considering they are nearly identical

ther e perfectly fine the orange ones it is chilling seeing the black only colour coming out of them though
