birch bark knife

Ay up lads. On this fantastically snowy day I thought I'd share the latest knife I've made. It's a partially forged blade of N11e(?) steel from Killrathi. Brass bolster, birchbark, green fibre liner and curly birch. It's a bit 'rustic' and after using Danish oil and beeswax the handle appears a bit muddy looking. But it's a wicked knife and I'm very chuffed with it. I'm still making the sheath. Hope you like it! Simon.

Fine tiddler!, a nicely turned out blade looks ace right up to the point you start using it, rustic just ages so much better!
