OK, so it's got nothing to do with bushcraft, but here's the newest two members of the domestic menagerie (hint: it's the four-legged ones...)

Hence why I'm having to flog a stack of BC kit...

Well done Tobes, you need to get them straw hats now too.

Good thinking Santaman!

I doubt the foal would be much use for anything larger than a water bottle... The girls come in handy for all that carrying stuff though :D

You can bet your bottom that they'll be good for carrying your bushcraft kit once the foal has grown up a bit.

Are they rescues or bought from a breeder?

Bought from a petting farm (charity - so happy to support them), so they're about as soppy as you can get. Daisy (mum) and Dudley (5 weeks). It's pretty much impossible to actually get rescues, by the time you've jumped through all the hoops, frankly it's cheaper to buy - and much as I'd like to support rescue donkeys, I'm also happy to support a charity that takes them to old folks' homes etc.

And they're definitely very cool :D
