Just made a berry collector, the upper ring is adjustable so that you can adjust the spacing for small or large berries/stems. I was quite a labour intensive job, was thinking of producing them for sale but they really take an age to drill.

at 10" high should allow me to collect blackberries others cannot reach, roll on blackberry jam and blackberrt wine later this year.

Great project!

Look sturdy and effective too. I was thinking about making one as a shovel model with wooden spikes, but it is still on the to do list.

on the smallholding we have blackcurrents that have in previous years gone unpicked because it was too tedious, this will solve that, and ready for the elderberries and blackberries as well. this prototype took all afternoon make so not cost effective. Never mind I can inprove time taken. I will make a drilling jig eventually then will be able to sell as a predrilled kit ready for assembly
