Berghaus Vulcan Sizing?

I have a superb Vulcan rucksack that I ve had a couple of years, but haven't used much at all. Only really became aware of the sizing aspect after I bought it. I have started getting out a lot more this year and need something for the colder weather. I am therefore checking measurements before deciding whether this one is right for me. I am just under 6 foot tall and have a proportionately long back. The rucksack 'seems' to fit, but has a large number 1 drawn on the inside of the back. How can I check if this is indeed a number one size? Any guidance on how these should fit to the wearer?

Berghaus have a size guide on their website, down towards the bottom of the page. Hope that helps

Under the rear grab handle there should be a small white label and the size should be on that 1,2,3,4.

at your height it should be a size 3 but if you have a long back you may even be a 4.
Im 5'10 but a 3 is too long for me as I'm short in the back.

It may not be a size one as that is a ladies fit size ,,not many out there

Didn't know about this. Had a quick look . . . . . . .and there it is!! A nice, beautiful number 3.
