Are they a generous 36"? Is there an elasticated section in the waistband? How would you describe the fit, slim, blousy, wide leg??

To be honest Phil, they're brand new. I've never worn them (unwanted gift).
after a quick look I'd say a loose fit and a relatively generous 36.
