Ben's a great guy , superb craftsman and a cracking woodsman. Really helpful. He re-ground a couple of knife blades for me, that I couldn't get quite sharp enough , at a very fair price .

I can vouch for his work too having owned a Ben Orford knife with yew handle and matching firesteel now for several years. The crook knives are nicely made too and come in left hand, right hand and double edged combinations.

He's Mike Mr-greenwood-Abbot's protoge and surpassed his teacher years ago, then turned his hand to other things and is bloody good at everything. AND he's a nice guy! You've gotta hate people like that

I've got one of Ben's Pixie knives and it is absolutely superb: short, razor sharp 2mm 01 blade with the most stunning yew slabs - oh, and a beautifully made sheath. He is, I think, a quiet master of all he does and all he does, he does brilliantly.
