I've not seen a specific lid for the Belgian mug yet in my years of surplus kit diving. Never say never though!

There is an eBay seller "woodlorien" who makes nice lids for crusader mugs & various mess kits like the Yugoslavian ones. Might be worth a shout. Items are made to order so it takes a while but the work is good.

:) Take your mug, put it face down on a bit of MDF, draw round the rim. Cut out the block , take a bit of Alu sheet - I use charity shop bought cheap mess tins - mark out the block on the sheet adding about 1cm all round. Cut out the blank, screw it to the block with a self tapping screw in the center of each. Hammer the edge of the sheet over the edge of the MDF. Take the sheet off the MDF. Make a pot lid handle (I use a bit of Hazel rod) and screw it to the lid with a self tapping screw through the existing screw hole. drill some strainer holes, file the edges even and smooth and you have a mug lid. Cut a suitable size hole instead of the handle and you have a filter holder....
I am no metal worker - so if I can do it ,anyone can make a lid or filter holder! :)

i lost the lid of my "zebra" billy about 7years ago in a flood (and use a cheap stainless steel plate as replacement since then -- works, but not perfect...): i've a piece of thin stainless steel, so i'll have a go on making a better lid following your instructions soon :-)
