Well the little wifey is away leaving me and Sam free to go for a few wanders so I decided to take a walk through Bricket Wood on the outskirts of Watford.

It's a great place with loads of mishapen beeches grown all over the place and the bluebells give it an added magic.

It's a great wood to walk in with odd features here and there like these hollows and hummocks. I've been told they're old foxholes left over from WW2 when the army used to conduct training exercises in the woods

The bracken is starting to show itself now

As I said there's loads of beeches that grow in odd shapes. I liked this one because it's as if it's showing its muscles :)

And that was the end of the walk. We really enjoyed ourselves and I hope you like the pictures as well :)
