Looking for some traditional or homemade bedroll straps.

Like this/similar.

Maybe make your own? A old belt or two, a hole punch, a few rivets and a couple of conway buckles would give you something like ...




It doesn't need such a wide hand strap, half that width fastened with single rivets would suffice.



Space enough to include a bulkier item.



And conway buckles don't require stitching in place ;)

What you want is a 'coat sling'. GeoffWood used to make them for sale on here but he hasn't been around since 2012 on BCUK.

He is more regular on BritishBlades (yesterday in fact).
