This photograph was taken in Finnland on the banks of lake Saimaa near Anttola close to the south east Russian boarder, Wayne Jones of Forset Knights (https://forestknights.co.uk/) runs an 8 day canoing expedition on the Saimaa lake. The shelter is called Koto which roughly translates as 'home' here are a few more photgraphs of the same shelter from different angles.

Thanks for pics, yes "koto" is an old fashioned word for home, it is of the same origin as Lapp "kota" which some people here know as "Lavvu".

It is structurally quite clever and gives more protection than some of the leantos. Have to remember that solution. :emoji_thumbsup:
