Hi I am a 42 -44 inch chest and it fits me well , I am not sure about the arm length but I have average length arms for a 6ft bloke with a42-44 inch chest

Here is the barbour sizing chart mate http://www.barbour.com/size-guides

I will try and do some on line checking to see if I can find out what barbour say about the arm length

It fits me OK , its not snug and its not to big. I am normal a sized 42-44 inch chest with a 34 waist . ( gosh this sounds like internet dating) errrm
The barbour size charts say a large is made to fit a 42.5 inch chest

If your not sure mate you could always pop into a shop and try on a large barbour. I would guess even if its not the same model it should give you an idea of the fit

If it helps in judging the size I have the exact same jacket in a medium, I'm a 42" chest, 5'9" tall and a 34" waist. My jacket is a bit small on me.

Here you go mate

First up is armpit to armpit ; 22.75 inches

Second up is armpit to sleeve tip: 19.5 inches
