Backwoods Birthday

Pleased to announce that not all birthdays are glitz and technology. One of my sons friends almost begged to have his birthday in thewoods, so who am I to disapoint...

They had a great time and the weather was perfect. Some air rifle shooting, archery and games, and cooking on the fire. They also re-built some of the shelters that were looking a little worse for wear.

My son insisted I took a picture of his pot hanger

Wellsy came along and stole my grave...

And when they'd all gone to sleep, some ME time...

And not an ipod, phone or gameboy in sight...

catch up with you all soon, got a few camps lined up over the coming months...So little time so many fires to light...
