I received an old axe made by a company named Kapriol from italy, the head bit seems to be colored in a bronze color and the bottom of the handle painted in orange, Does anyone here have any clue about the axe, is it worth anything-if i was to work on it abit that is because at the moment it is very blunt.

The head has a convex edge but it seems like its is a big angle of convex and doesn't seem like it will have an edge that will bite, if you know what i mean.

Thanks for your felp, hopefully i will post pics of the restoration.

got a picture mate? would help alot if you did.

with most smaller axes (usually designed for splitting) don't have edges that cut aswell as more specifically designed axes.

Get a hand file and re work the blade untill it's the profile you find more usuable...that's if you want to clean it up and start using it.
