Can anyone suggest an alternative - quality, durability etc?

I would be happy to quote on a custom made replacement.... Design, materials, the works... All decided by you!slamdunk said:I'm thinking of 'trading in' my AW/Woodlore knife. It doesn't get huge use and it seems a waste.

Stuart - I'm interested in a custom. Obviously cost will be a factor & I realise it will be dependent upon materials/design etc. Shall I pm to enquire about style/cost etc?
Regarding selling the AW - here or evilbay? I don't like ripping people off & I'm guessing there are some folk in the forum who'd be interested - bearing in mind it isn't brand new and I couldn't advertise it as such.
For a 'general' bushcraft knife - what points should I be considering? I've seen many comments like 'point looks thin' or 'grind is wrong'.......any tips for selecting a knife?
