I'm thinking of 'trading in' my AW/Woodlore knife. It doesn't get huge use and it seems a waste.

Can anyone suggest an alternative - quality, durability etc?

Are you nuts, thats worth about £500 on ebay, £500 will buy you a lot of knife and a load of other kit you may need.

SELL IT !!

Not entirely mad........I guess selling it makes sense - although I still need another knife to take it's place!

Stuart - I'm interested in a custom. Obviously cost will be a factor & I realise it will be dependent upon materials/design etc. Shall I pm to enquire about style/cost etc?

Regarding selling the AW - here or evilbay? I don't like ripping people off & I'm guessing there are some folk in the forum who'd be interested - bearing in mind it isn't brand new and I couldn't advertise it as such.

For a 'general' bushcraft knife - what points should I be considering? I've seen many comments like 'point looks thin' or 'grind is wrong'.......any tips for selecting a knife?

Having had a Knife made by Stuart I can confirm that as he designs it, shapes it and builds it he will take you, your thoughts and wishes into consideration of the design of the knife and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. :)

If you're not using it much why not sell it on ebay and get a cheap Mora. Excellent knives for the money.
Spend the rest of the money you make on a holiday or a new house or something :) .
