I'm on a lieu day today so I decided to go for a walk with Sam at Ashridge Estate to check out the bluebells.
Got up there only to find I'd forgotten to replace the batteries in my camera so I had to make do with my camera phone so sorry for the quality of some of the pictures. It was a wet and chilly morning and because of that we had the wood to ourselves which was great.
Sam wanting to get a move on
The path calling us on
Loads and loads of bluebells
Ashridge has some magnificent specimen trees. We walked passed a load of Horse Chestnut trees some of which were over 5ft in diameter
Sam posing for a second
Then the sun started to work it's way through
All in all, it was a really nice walk for us both. Now I better get on with the decorating or the little wifey might have something to say
