Good idea! although I have a short length of paracord always attached to my knife sheath loop, if I need to have my knife lower, I slip my belt through the paracord and hey presto!

I have used plaited leather cords for the same job - but with this you can dismount your knife without removing your belt...

Got one! The cognac is almost an identical colour to the karesuando sheaths.
