Just wondering if anyone can direct me to a source for Swedish Aquavit, I'm gonna try to make sloe gin this year bit i read its just as good to make sloe aquavit.

I've just replied on a thread about St John's wort and then thought I'd google it. Up came the Wiki site and there's mention of snaps.........or aquavit.

Just to plough in with my size 10's, aparantly norwegian aquavit is better then swedish (but yes i am biased).
Wonder how much it is in Ikea - cos its not bloomin cheap over there even in duty free!
make sure you tell how it goes as i will keep an eye on this - never seen it done over there btw - the ones i have seen tend to use plain spirit without flavoring with the fruit.
