Trying something different this is a side project. Thinking of doing up a matching set of different woods might even work up a set of small saucers to. Basing this more on a traditional design no handle on them

Yep I'll be sealing it with mineral oil

Sadly this piece is one of those projects that wasn't meant to be. The wood had some serious nasty splits in it where I got it from and they showed in the piece after I had started eh well plenty more to make them from LOL
