I think i may have just found some, On a horse accessories website, lyndas horsewear lol
go figure. 50mm olive green hook and loop.
thank you tho mary, of all people i reckoned you would know where to get some ;)

I'm backing my BCUK badge in hook and putting a small square loop patch on my new Dan-Cam smock. thus i can put my bcuk patch on there or anything else i want.
have to use fabric glue on the smock tho so i don't pierce the drop liner :D
hope it works out for your project ;)

I am doing the same Melonfish but I was just going to cheat and use the rank tab that is on the Smock and glue some hooks onto the back of my BCUK patch

I have used point North and Lyndas horsewear in the past, and have had good service from both. When ordering webbing though, Lyndas stuff is heavier and thicker (so not so good for backpacking projects...but then it's meant for horses lol)

Point North for all your outdoor fabric n Habadashin

Aye, i did think of that, don't like how it slides around tho so i may make a proper sized slide for that, just need some dan-cam material for it. i'll prolly put my blood type on there tbh.

Funny I've just backed two patches with 50 mm OD Velcro and stuck them on my day sac today. Seems to work well enough and looks great .
Never thought of doing the same for a jacket though :bluThinki ...next diy job me thinks.
