Anybody read any Michelle Paver books ?

I caught the end of a programme on Radio 4 tonight with Michelle Paver discussing her latest book Dark Matter

I know she's known for her kiddie books but her new stuff sounds quite good. Is it worth picking up a copy ?

Her "Chronicles of Ancient Darkness" series are set in the mesolithic and very bushcrafty. Aimed at kids but not too childish, and better for kids than something like Auel's series.
