Need a +3 man tent with space to spare. Cycle touring with family. There's a few 4 man tents with a weight below 3kg that are cheap enough. Tents like the Luxe Octopeak look good value.
My budget is up to £300 so I'm struggling to find something we both like. Extended tunnel tents are what we like but every one of those that's lighter than 3kg costs upwards of £420. Too much for us. Cheaper ones are 3.6kg or more and we've had a bad experience with one brand that does 2 good examples of them.
So we are now looking at the unusual such as lightweight tipi tents. So if anyone has experience or recommendations I'd be interested to hear your views.
