My intro ( and fave ) is Animal Tracks and Signs by Preben Bang and Preben Dahlstrom.
Forward by Ray Mears.
Bought as a pressie for me sometime ago from Woodlore.
Hope this helps.

Yep...this one is very good, one of my favorites the other one is 'Animal Tracks ID and Techniques' by Ian 'Max' Maxwell of Shadowhawk (this is who I have done tracking courses with) a great book, unfortunately I cannot find my copy and I just looked on Amazon and it's now £65!!!!! I assume this is because it's out of print, but well worth keeping an eye out for a copy.

The complete guide to tracking by Bob Carss
