finally got a gap to play with a few ideas hope you like .These were made for a chain but will cast the next helmets for lanyards with a hole through them .

Great stuff. Would really like to see a step by step for that. I take it the mould is reusable then?
Mould is reusable , for this size item should get 2000 anvils out and at least the same with helmet .Mould is a disc of silicone rubber about the size of a pizza disk you need two discs - top and bottom discs are used in the machine .For once off moulds I just use a block of the scrap rubber , its very similar to playdow in texture make small steel coffin ,clamp it tight and bake in oven @180'c for 15 min to vulcanise the rubber its a very easy fast way to make moulds rubber is rated to 600'C si it you don't overheat it the mould will last indef
