Try the John Lewis haberdashery department. They do both duffle coat type toggles and flat polished antler buttons. Can’t remember how much though.

Thanks for the suggestion - I did look in JL, but the toggles were plastic.

These are about 5" long but I'll cut one of the tips off at about 2" for you mate. Am busy most of the week so will pack it at the weekend and it should be with you early next week.
