Another tankard. Different pattern

Saw a tankard online thought I'd have a go at making one like it. It's a prototype at as I wasn't sure about pattern or dimensions. Think the handle is to big so might not be rigid/strong enough. Anyway here are some WIP pics

I'll melt bees wax and l cover the insides then baked it. Worked ok for the last tankard I made and it had more stitch holes in the vessel walls so should work with this one.

First tankard holds about half a pint this one will hold a full pint

Cool, I've heard of people using that method for making bottles from leather. I also have some brewers pitch to try.

All waxed and seems to be water tight. In hind sight I'd make the handle a little more rigid

The bees wax sorts it. You can smell the wax but it doesn't seem to taint the drink... Mind you I've only had water in it so far.
