Bear in mind the green will dye all the smock not just the lighter bits. So you will get green mixed with whatever green and brown make!
Bugger. What does green and brown make?
Next dye job I'm asking you for advice

I got a smock sent to me the other day - JOHAN SKOGLUND RYSSLAND -3 crowns printed on the inner label 100% polyester .Question any one ever re dye polyester and if so what brand/product did you use ?
The lighter the area the more predominant it will go green.
The areas where the brown is more solid will go midway between brown and green so a really dark earthy colour more than likely
To be honest.......
I like it. When I get round to doing mine, I'm aiming for something like that but in a greyey green colour, aka, Return of the Jedi style.
Cheers for that. Next wash it will get a green and will see if it works. How bad could it be
I think that is an awesome pattern, can you share with us how that "has gone wrong" cause I am in for a Tie dye adventure, how did you fold/tie it? and dye it?
yours sincerely Ruud
