I finished knocking up another little project after work today. This one is made of 1070 steel with oak scales, red fibreboard liners and carbon fibre pins. The blade is 3mm thick and has a cutting edge of approximately 3 1/2 inches in length. I’ve not had chance to make a sheath for it yet so will add pics of that as and when and probably also of a Nessmuk style knife that’s nearing completion.
Thanks for looking. James :)

Just thought I’d post up a couple of pics of the small “Nessmuk” style knife I’ve been working on. Again it’s 3mm 1070 steel with a forced patina and furnished with oak scales and brass pins :)

Lovely work - I'm a fan of the Nessmuk style. Smaller (?) knife looks very useful as a carver. Thanks for sharing.

I had a leisurely afternoon today alternating between chilling in a hammock in the garden and finishing the sheath for the first of the knives above :)
