I have a pair of msr anodised aluminium nesting pots and I am wondering how they would fare on an open fire.
I've seen the health warnings about aluminium on here but I as far as I know the anodised aluminium is ok to cook on gas. I have them for years but rarely use them now as they are a one man set really and I have been lucky enough to have company for the last few years so I have a bigger set of stainless steel pots.
I am heading out on my own next wkd and was going to bring the aluminium set, but would like to cook on the fire.
Anyone have any experience of these ?
