Well, just finished watching Andrew Marr's 1st Episode of his History of the World... I had to post this, as Mrs Redcollective was bored of my ranting.
I was awestruck at the sheer sillyness of it... the ridiculously long cgi 'enhanced' set pieces ('the bridge'), laughable reenactments of paleolithic kodak moments like the invention of the needle (where, apparently, you can pull a conveniently sized bloody thread from the carcass of an large animal with your gore soaked fingers and set to fashioning yourself a bloodied, gore soaked shirt with it - with the eyed needle you just invented (nevermind the awl!))... oh and the reenactment of the invention of farming (the first seed)... I can't/won't go on !!!!:aargh4:
Was anybody else as frustrated with this show as I was?
