I love coffee in the morning, but personally I will not be getting this. I can get my fix by using existing multi-purpose equipment.

I finally bit the bullet on an Aeropress recently and I'm annoyed that I didn't do it sooner.

Nice and light, easy to clean (essentially self cleaning) and good coffee.

There's a tiny little Coghlans version kicking about, I nearly bought a few in Canada a few years ago and then never bothered.

The Esbit one works pretty well ...

Looks pretty good Rich, but that fella in the video well his coffee... I've emptied darker looking urine from catheter bags than his brew;)

Lets not forget the humble Ibrik/Briki combined with Turkish/Greek grind coffee. Cheap as chips on ebay.

I think he might have brewed up too quickly in that vid, apparently they work much better on a low slow heat

Not really Rich, the stove works on a boil and pressure principle. What he failed to do was use enough coffee and then 'tamp' the coffee down.

In his second video he uses Yuban coffee which after a quick google seems to be a cheap brand and he did 'tamp' a bit.

I've got all sorts of camping coffee machinery but the simplest is the filter that goes inside the cup. The coffee is stored in a bag inside the filter, this goes into the cup which all goes into the Ti kettle.
