I just have to oil the sheat. Its made of 6 mm 5160 with handle in rootmasur from birch.

Hi seved how thick is that blade i made a knife out off an old file i was on with the grinder for hours and made very little difference on thickness. by the way fantastic job on the knife ill be watching you closely

Thank you Stanley.. You are welcome to watch me. Its 6mm thick. Its very important that you have fresh bands and use 60 or 80 grits bands when you have to grind of a lot of steel.

i its alright when you have this sort off machinery i have to work with a 4"hand held angle grinder and a bench grinder and lots and lots off hand finishing. you'll be in trouble if i get some good equipment ill post a picture off my 6mm knife
