All the bullcrap that gets aired just makes it harder for legit people to do something worthwhile, very sad imho.

Alaska and the Yukon Territory are about the last region on earth where you can attempt these things.
Some very isolated camps up the BC coast = Knight, Bute & Toba inlets. Often the camps are floating as there is no level space ashore.
If there is/was, you can be 100% assured that it has already been found and claimed, a century+ ago.
