Adz from old tools

Is there anyone on here that can turn old tools into an Adz for me, I have some strange old hammers that were collected from my Grandad before he left us and wondered if anyone with a forge could work these for me, not after a large adz just something to make bowls with.

Any help appreciated as I don't have much money at the moment so new tools from old seems a good way to go.

Why don't you post some pictures of the hammers; you may well find that there's interest in some of them and you could trade/sell them to get an adze?

There is a blacksmith just off the A33 at Stratfield Saye - I've never been in but it might be the sort of project they'd like to help with. It's just down from the petrol station if you know where that is? I agree that it'd be a nice thing to do with a keepsake...
